THE ROBE OF THE GALILEAN

Tonight was our school's production of "The Robe of the Galilean". Kirsten played the part of Joanna. Of course, she did an amazing job - everyone did! The story is based on the novel by Lloyd Douglas, The Robe . There was a major motion picture of this story released in the 1950's. The Robe tells the story of Marcellus Gallio, the Roman centurion who is in charge of Jesus' crucifixion. In the story, Marcellus is the one who wins the gambling contest for Jesus' robe. He then sets forth on a quest to find the truth about the Nazarene's robe - a quest that reaches to the very roots and heart of Christianity. This play is a depiction of his conversion to Christ and is an excellent, moving display of the true message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

You can see more pictures of the play by entering the code "robe" under the client section at www.timelessandtreasured.com

The pictures are amazing Heather and it looks like you captured all of the passion possible on the faces of the kids. Kirsten looks so beautiful and it looks like the kids all took their parts very seriously and did a great job. The story is such a great one too.
