SWEET MISS "P"

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
I had the pleasure this evening of capturing this sweet little girl with the most beautiful blue eyes! I think she has to be the happiest baby on the planet. She just giggled and jabbered the whole time, and never once did I hear a little cry or a whine. Mom and Dad say that she is always like that too! Wow, what a blessing. I had a great time with you guys tonight - enjoy your sneak peek!

A MARYLAND AUTUMN

Photobucket

Photobucket
This is our house in the fall - this picture is for someone very special - someone from long ago, who was like a Mommy to me! I thought of you as I took this knowing how much you would enjoy seeing our home! :)

Here is a view from our side yard...

And this is what I see sitting on my couch in the family room!

And this is a very dear place to me.... this is where Boo goes to preschool, and Banana has gone to this little school ever since she was three - until this year as we homeschool. This is where my Punkin has grown in wisdom, both academically and spiritually, in a way that boggles my mind. It is quite the wonder to me to know that if I have a question about the Bible, it can often be answered by one of my girls. Their knowledge of the Bible is astounding, and much of it came from within the walls of this building. And it has recently become our home church - a very dear place.

AMAZING COLOR

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
These images don't even begin to touch the beauty that is surrounding us these last few days. The color God is painting across the landscapes as well as the skies simply cannot be described. Even a picture can't do it justice. It has been very rainy here lately, keeping me from getting out and getting the kind of images I would like to get, these were all taken from the window of my car! I think the fact that all the leaves are wet make the color even more vivid. It's simply glorious! These images are straight out of my camera, with no color enhancements at all!

FALL COLOR AND BFF's

I just had to share a few more from this weekends session. The leaves are just about at their peak right now - they are simply glorious! I just never really get used to seeing the amazing color every fall - even though we left Florida over ten years ago - the incredible color still amazes me every year.

And this is one of my very favorite families on the planet!! Not only is this my Banana's best friend, her mom is also one of my very best and dearest friends! We met when we were living on the same street in our townhomes when the girls were just born. (Remember the firetrucks?) And God has blessed us so much that when we moved to our current home - the perfect house for their family was just waiting for them on our very same street! We have been through a whole heck of a lot together through the years - lots of laughter, lots of tears, trips to the emergency room, and trips to the beach, lots of rejoicing with the good times and even pulling each other through the tough times. We have been on quite a spiritual journey together, and experienced some pretty crazy stuff! She is always there and ready to talk some sense into me when I have another one of my crazy ideas! But through it all our gift of friendship has never wavered. I don't know what I would have done without you Beth during my last pregnancy! (She practically delivered Miss Boo, and yes, she is a Labor and Delivery nurse!). I'm so very blessed with your friendship and so thankful that God crossed our paths, hopefully those paths will always be parallel. It was an honor to be able to capture these moments in your precious family's life!

BEAUTIFUL BALLERINA

My heart just swells with pride over this little ballerina. You will probably recognize her as Miss Banana's very best buddy. They have been best friends since they could walk! I love her just like one of my own - so I was overdelighted to be able to capture these images of her! She is a very talented dancer - and a very special girl. I have about a million more pictures, including some family shots - but mom and dad (and grandma and grandpa) are anxiously awaiting a little sneak peek - so without further ado........

THE P FAMILY

Last weekend's session was with the "P" family - what a fun group of kids! They live on a beautiful farm out in a very rural area. I loved watching these great kids interact with each other - they have a very special bond, and I have a certain fondness for one of these beautiful girls! Enjoy your sneak peek "P" family!

THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

My Punkin discovered a new love last week - Robert Frost poetry. She memorized "The Road Not Taken" and decided to do a painting of the scene depicted in the poem.
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Don't you love her new no braces smile!???!
Photobucket
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence;
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I ----
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
~Robert Frost~
