SOAKING UP THE SUN

Ahhh!! Sunny days are here again! It has been sooo beautiful this week. Sunny and right about 70 degrees each day. Today I have all my windows open for the first time and I have been doing some spring cleaning the last two weeks. I have been following "A Virtuous Woman's Spring Clean Challenge". It has some nice daily devotionals along with a spring cleaning guide. Before school this morning I walked in to find Banana so sweetly helping Boo write her numbers.

Then we decided to do our morning school work on the deck! It was so sunny and warm.

I love how Banana's freckles pop up in the spring sunshine!

I couldn't believe it when I came across this little t-shirt for Boo. Her Daddy sings "You are My Sunshine" to her every night at bedtime, and her calls her "My Little Sunshine". It's like the shirt was made just for her.

Ahhh...the sun on my face!!

The boys decided to help Banana with her math.

Have you noticed my new blog makeover? I have decided to keep this blog as our personal family scrapbook and start a different blog for my portrait session previews and more photography related stuff. You can find it at http://www.timelessandtreasuredportraits.blogspot.com/ or you can also link to it from my main page at http://www.timelessandtreasured.com/ I recently had a blog book printed WITH THIS BLOG BOOK COMPANY (thank you Erin!!). I was a little hesitant at first to see how it would print, and since I put up web-sized pictures, not print sized pictures, I didn't think the pictures would print very well. However, the book turned out GREAT!! I am soooo excited that with a click of a button, I can have a great scrapbook printed up with all the journaling I do on the blog, as well as the pictures, and even the comments! My favorite things to remember are all the small everyday moments, which I like to share here. I usually don't even take my camera when we go off and do fun things, but I love to take pictures at home. I will be so glad to have these books to look at in the years to come. So, I am focusing a little more on blogging all the pictures that I want to have printed in my books. It's so easy to "scrapbook" now, in 10 minutes a day or so, my kids lives will be documented! I love it!!

What is up with this weather? Hand on to that warm sunshine until I get there. PLEASE! Love the pictures.
