My girls are home from school today, they have both been battling a cold or allergies or something all week, so we decided a day of rest would do them both some good. We enjoyed a morning of baking cookies today, and delighted in a "slow" morning again, no rushing to get ready for school. We miss summer.

i stayed home from school today too mrs heather! btu my day was NO where near as fun as yours looked!!! i pretty much just layed around coughing my brains out and i think i blowed my nose AT LEAST 1,000 times!!

OK, Sydney's comment is adorable. Hope the girls are feeling better - our kids started on Claritin and it kicked it - it's that time of year.... but I don't hesitate to keep them home either - love those days.

Looks like a fun "sick" day. We've had our own around here this week too but we've had the stomach flu so cookies was the last thing we wanted. Yours look great.
