LETTERS, RHYMES, SWINGS AND THINGS

One of my recent favorite pre-k discoveries is this little white board for writing numbers and letters that can be erased and written over and over again.

I think the "fluidness" of the markers makes writing a little bit easier.

We've been working on rhymes lately with this self-correcting puzzle.

And Banana has enjoyed doing some of her reading on the swings that are now right outside our school room door! She is working on Sarah, Plain and Tall. We love that book.

Which is perfect for stepping outside to run off all that energy when we need to!

Banana has been learning about the human body in science - we love this book that I found last year at the homeschool convention. The convention is this Friday - I'm so excited to be going with several girlfriends!!

And we did some drawings on the dermal system.

Only four more weeks of school left!! :)

Emily's pic on the swing is too cute! I remember Austin learned to write on a wipe board very similar to E's. He used it so much it wouldn't wipe clean anymore - wonderful to just erase and start over!
