Winter has arrived. It seems a bit early this year.
What kid can resist? It seems to be an instinct as soon as a kid steps out into the snow - to stick out their tongue!! :)
Even the dog tries to catch a few flakes with his tongue.
It's time to say goodbye to any kind of gardening until next spring.
Good-bye purple daisies.

Beautiful pictures! And yes, winter has arrived. It was 11 degrees this morning.
Amazing photos. One question though: What is that white stuff that is falling from the sky that everyone seems to be eating?
Funny Pam - Remember in Kindergarten?? It snowed in Florida when we were in kindergarten!! :)
Wasn't it GLORIOUS?! Breanna is going to be so disappointed when I wake her for dinner and it's too dark to go back outside.
gorgeous pictures ! almost makes me want to be there, but not really
I can't believe it's already snowing!! I have to admit that's it's beautiful to see and the first snowfall does provide a magical excitement; then it ends and I'm ready for the warm weather to return. Too bad we still have at least 4 more months of BRRR chill to endure!! Love the pix--stay warm!!
Just looking at these again and noticed your home in the blur of Emily's photo with her tongue out. Cool blur. :)
these are so beautiful! i miss the snow. your little 'boo' is a treat to look at every time :O). Happy Thanksgiving!
