Ahhh, sweet surrender... Yes, it can feel like chaos and it's against our human nature. There is a reason it's called "sweet" surrender, but the path to it can feel like walking a jagged cliff at times. The peace there is sweet and sure, and it is the place that He desires us to live in. And in reality we are never in control even when we think we are (my #1 ongoing lifelong lesson!).
Karen - A group called Sanctus Real sings it. This song is just speaking so loud to me lately - I can feel God is most definitely up to something, something bigger than me. I just have no idea what it is - it is definitely chaos, but somehow there's peace. I just want to be in the place He wants me to be.
Hey, you've got to see this song - "Jesus is a Friend of Mine" by Sonseed (early 80s I think). Richard will get a real kick out of it! The song will STICK in your head (when you aren't laughing). Also, notice the grand piano is never used.

This is a great song. I've never heard it before but I like it.

P.S. Who sings that?
