HISTORIC JERUSALEM MILL COVERED BRIDGE

Photobucket

I did a session this evening at a beautiful place - Jerusalem Mill. The 228-year old Jerusalem Mill, once the centerpiece of the thriving Quaker settlement of Jerusalem in the 18th and 19th centuries, operated continuously for nearly two centuries. Located on the banks of the Little Gunpowder Falls River in Harford County, both the Mill and the Village are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This bridge was originally built in 1865. It is so beautiful in the autumn leaves.

This is really beautiful. I love covered bridges and the fall leaves are SO pretty. Sure wish we had some fall colors here.

I LOVE covered bridges too--there's something amazing about their unique structure and they always seem to be built in the most beautiful locations! GREAT picture Heather!!
