HANNAH'S TABERNACLE PROJECT

Photobucket

Yesterday, Hannah did an oral report on the Tabernacle. A few weeks ago, her class was able to visit a real life-size replica of the tabernacle. She has learned so much about it. She brought along 12 loaves of bread (which is actually supposed to be manna), that sat on the Table of Shewbread in the holy place inside the tabernacle. The 12 loaves of bread symbolized the 12 tribes of Israel. Hannah's report focused on the Table of Shewbread, the Golden Lampstand, the Altar of Incense, the Holy of Holies, and the Ark of the Covenant. She did a wonderful job speaking in front of a large group - I'm so proud of her!!

I can definitely say that I learned MUCH more in the days that I went to private school then what I have in public school! I love that atmosphere! And, I'm glad that your daughters get to enjoy it too! Sounds like a lot of fun!

Tell Hannah that Aunt Karen is so proud of her for speaking in front of everyone - I know it's not her fave thing to do!

Also, one of my favorite Beth Moore Bible studies is the Tabernacle. It is an incredible indepth look at the purposes and meanings of everything in and about the Tabernacle and how it relates to our hearts and souls; what it meant then and now.
