A WALK ALONG THE CHESAPEAKE BAY

This evening, the weather was so beautiful we decided to take the dogs to the promenade for a little walk. It was a little chilly (by FL standards, not MD), but it was gorgeous out. However, don't let the pictures fool way. Do you ever just have those kind of outings? It was altogether miserable. I'm still stewing. I thought maybe some photo editing and some blogging about it would help a little, maybe it would be a little therapeutic. Yeah, no. I'm still stewing. They say a picture can say a thousand words...... well, they can also tell a thousand lies.

Oh, did you get an ice cream at the end? We just love to get a cone and sit up on the deck. It's one of our favorite local adventures.

Oh, see, now that's what you get when you only look at the photos. I thought you had a marvelous time from the photos you posted. It surely looks like heaven on earth. So the theory is correct--a photo can tell a thousand lies.

I hope your next trip is full of grace and forgiveness and loving hands.

Let's just say it wasn't the little kids or the dogs that were being high maintenance. We'll leave it at that!! We did manage to have a wonderful afternoon today at the local duck pond. I avoided my camera so as not to jinx it. The weather is even more beautiful today than yesterday - WARM!! We had fun feeding the ducks together and everyone behaved - ahem, Kirsten-Richard!
