Thankful

This is the time of year we all start to ponder all the many things we are thankful for.  The past few days I have been so blessed and thankful to see my little first grader beginning to see the Bible come to life.  I'm so so so thankful for our wonderful school and church that teach so early the importance of God's truth.  Understanding Biblical truth is crucial to understanding God's plan for his people. My Boo has been learning about the life of Moses lately at school.  I love that she already sees the big picture in first grade.  I  love that she sees the Bible isn't just full of stories, but that "every story whispers His name".   For the past few days she has collected all of her little books she has that have pieces of the story of Moses in them, and has taken the time ALL ON HER OWN, to compile them together, research paper style, and write them all out.  This isn't a school assignment, not a school project, she simply did this on her own.  She wanted to give it to her teacher as a gift.  What teacher wouldn't love a gift of seeing her little students light up with excitement about what she is teaching them?  She did however, do some copying straight from some of her storybooks, we will learn about plagiarizing another day. :)
