It's that time of year! Time to pack, collect and send off your shoeboxes! The past few years our school has had a "packing party" where each child gets to choose exactly what to put in a box, pray over that box, include a letter and a picture of themselves, and even a handprint so that special child that receives their shoebox can touch the hand of the child who prepared it and is praying for them.
