20th Wedding Anniversary

We just got back from a last minute unscheduled trip to Florida.  While we were there we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.  My sweet hubby surprised me with an anniversary band at the same exact location in Florida where he proposed to me over 20 years ago.

But this time we had someone there to capture the moment! :)


It was surreal to be there 20 years later with three girls looking on .....

The next night I surprised my hubby with a night in the same exact room in the same hotel that we spent our wedding night in Jacksonville, FL.

Fortunately, I had saved our receipt from that night 20 years ago and had it in our wedding album so I was able to look up the room number.






The hotel surprised us with having a very romantic room awaiting us!

We spent some time walking around the Jacksonville Landing where we spent the first few years of our marriage (before kiddos!).

and as always at this time of year we wrestled with the idea of moving back to FL......


I love being near the water - maybe it's time for a beach home!!! :)
