Hello St. George Island!!

My sister's family drove all the way from Minnesota to join us for a week at the beach house.   The first day we arrived, it was very rainy - we had a great time exploring the bay and the beach in the rain.  It's quite a different experience on a rainy day so I'm so glad we had just one day of rain to explore and rest and recharge before we started our fun-filled week.   We spent our first day....

having family visit us


watching fish jump


counting hundreds of sand crabs on the shore


falling in love with my nephew all over again




found so many amazing things on
a well-kept secret of an island


plenty of time in the pool


playing with aunts and uncles


wearing goggles upside down


exploring the island on bikes


coloring, nail painting, hermit crab catching,


lighthouse puzzles, eating twizzlers and boiled peanuts


and plenty and plenty of time to rest, relax and recharge
spending time with those we love
