Boo's Pony Party

When Miss Boo thinks about her birthday, she thinks about the cake. I have never known a little girl so intrigued by birthday cakes. This year, I had a wonderful offer from a friend to make the cake for her, and you can bet I took her up on that offer!! Isn't it beautiful? Boo found what she wanted, and Beth created it!  Beth VanBemmel- you are amazing!!

My Boo always insists on having an "E" on top, for Emily (no B for Boo!!).

And another dear friend brought us some ponies for Boo's birthday party! How fitting because the theme she chose was "My Little Pony".  The weather was absolutely PERFECT!!!  I can't believe how warm it was for November!

We rode ponies............

We painted ponies...........

And we played "Pin the Rainbow-ish Thing on the Pony"...

I just had to snap a picture of our friend Leigh (the girls riding instructor), delivering her ponies in her high heels!!  She had a wedding shower to go to, so she left the ponies and the trailer and left Punkin and her buddy Mollie in charge! They were in horsey heaven.

Punkin's childhood dream of having horses in her own yard in the suburbs finally came true!

Happy Birthday Boo! I hope you remember celebrating the year you turned FIVE forever!!  We love you to the moon and back!

Sooo many things to say! Wish I was there for this very big birthday party! It proves what I've been trying to convince Cary of, which is that yes, you CAN have a pony in your backyard! I love the pic of E sitting with her arms out with all her gifts. Happy Birthday Miss E!!! Oh yeah - and I love the cake!
