A Charles Dickens Christmas Celebration

On the last day of school  before Christmas break, the 6th grade celebrated Victorian style!  They are reading A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.

There were Victorian costumes...

Victorian dancing....

Victorian food - at tea time!

Victorian games and crafts

and a Victorian gift exchange... well maybe that part wasn't quite Victorian  :)

and to all a "Happy Christmas!"

Love those long curls on Hannah. And her dress. She looked very "Victorian".

Wow, that looks amazing, and Hannah is so beautiful in her Victorian costume. Charles Dickens was born in Portsmouth, just across town from our house. It's a museum now http://www.charlesdickensbirthplace.co.uk/ xx
