SnOwctober

Complete craziness!! I've never seen it snow before Halloween - have you?  I hope that means we will have a snowy winter.  I love the snow.  But I don't like winter - yucky gray skies and short days, at least having snow makes it more fun.

That just isn't right - snow on a pumpkin?

snow covered fall leaf?

very unhappy hydrangeas and roses

My "no-hands-umbrella" solution so I had two hands free to use my camera, while keeping it safe and dry! : )

fall football??

Oh my! We don't even think about frost in October in Texas. Snow would be heavenly though after the 71 days of 100 plus degrees this summer!

We have a couple of inches so far with six predicted for our area. I love your photography style and point of view...but, you might reconsider the last photo that shows your license plate numbers. You never know who is lurking and might take too much interest, ya know?

To quote a dear friend, "OH, my heavenly stars"!! :) It looks like everyone is thoroughly enjoying the snow. I'm with you, maybe the snow is OK (can't believe I admitted that one), but winter--I just don't like it! Stay safe and warm!

Good point Malea - thank you! I had considered it, and decided not to take the time, but your reminder made me take a few minutes and be cautious! :)

Beautiful pictures. But snow in October. Brrr! You know how much I like winter. Don't want snow or cold. We were as cold as I like it today. 74 degrees for the high. I like your handless umbrella.

Wow, fabulous pictures!! We are visiting family in NJ this weekend and are enjoying snow tonight, too!! A rare treat for us southerners!

Heather you take some of the most amazing pictures. But how many photographers get a chance to take snow on top of flowers like that. I loved all of them. To think my kids are out scootering around in shorts.

Aww - thanks Toinia... I have to admit, I'm slightly jealous about the scootering in shorts. But I do love the snow too :)

Very pretty snow pictures! And I agree - a gray winter is yucky and I would rather have white if it has to be cold.
