Pools and Tadpoles
My little girls always have some sort of critter captured in a multitude of containers in the garage - right now we have a turtle (don't worry - we have a catch, observe, and release rule) - and 4-5 large bullfrog tadpoles. We keep those around a little while in a container of pond water and watch them grow their legs. It's a great science lesson. Today Boo decided to take a couple of them swimming with her in her pool.
They make pretty good playmates while sisters are at school.
See the legs starting to grow?
When my Hannah-Banana came home for lunch today - she enjoyed spending some time in the pool with "Boom-Boom" the tadpole as well. (I don't know how they come up with these names!!)

That is such a lovely idea, playing with the tadpoles in her pool! Hannah would love that!
