The Best Christmas Pagaent Ever!!

We hung our stockings by the chimney with care....Photobucket
And even had a funky stockings party full of lots of giggly teenage girls!

We enjoyed hearing one of our favorite 13-year-olds playing some INCREDIBLE music at a local restaurant. And we even were able to see several of our friends perform in an amazing performance of "The Nutcracker".

And spending time with friends.

We spread some Christmas cheer at the local nursing home.

And now we are going to relax, rest, and remember the reason for the season. We are going to enjoy spending some much-anticipated time with our extended family, celebrating the birth of our savior (as well as the birth of several other members of our family!!). Merry Christmas everyone!

I gotta tell you thanks for the nursing home visit. My mom is living in one now and I love to go see all the residents living there. They sit and wait for someone - like you and your children - to come visit. For some of them, you are the only visitors they get. So bless you! and thanks to you and your girls.

I love your Christmas card at the top of the post. My favorite part is the last photo with the girls laying on the ground. Emily looks ready for the shoot to be over - lol! Thanks for the Christmas breakdown :).

Our family rode by Nana's home a couple nights ago and took pictures of her lights. They are beautiful!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much Alice!! The nursing home visit was just as much of a blessing to us as it was to them. I was in tears the whole time seeing how the residents were so thirsty for some physical touch, especially from the little ones who so freely give it. We hugged and kissed as much as we could, and I kept thinking of my own grandmother who was recently put in a nursing home in Starke. We so badly wish we could be with her. I'm hoping some little girl will be hugging my grandma for Christmas.....

Merry Christmas to you and your family! I love the card of the girls (and the dogs) laying on the ground. Soooooo sweet! Enjoy the time off and we'll "see" you in the New Year!!

Merry Christmas to you too Heather and family. I am so glad that God is giving you the desires of your heart with a growing photography business and an amazing family to love and take care of. It has been a wonderful year being back in touch with my dearest friend from the beginning of my childhood memories. I love you very much.

Your card was really creative and beautiful. I have enjoyed looking at it over and over.

Ooooh, that made me miss Grandma. There is such a longing for touch by the elderly, especially in nursing homes.

Love the sock party! Casey would've loved it too - she's a funky sock girl!

I had to take a double take of the picture of that young man - he is a twin of a friend of Caseys!!!

We're ready and waiting for the O'Steen clan!!
