KING OF THE NATIONS

Last night was our schools annual Christmas concert. The theme of the concert was "King of the Nations". The students sang in German, 14th Century Latin, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Polish and English - all from MEMORY!! It was an amazing performance. We enjoyed the annual scripture recitation. There are no words to describe how incredible it is to hear the entire student body reciting chapters of the bible from memory. The video below shows only part of the students. The entire student body was wrapped around either side of the sanctuary reciting these passages from memory. It ended with the traditional Hallelujah chorus, which is always one of my favorites. I'm so proud of all the kids - they did a wonderful job!

It is an amazing school. Hannah and Emily are absolutely beautiful. No prejudice here either. Would like to know some of the Polish words.

Oh, Love you knew Christmas tree too. But especially the two girls in front of the tree. Where was Kirsten?

Thanks Alice!

Nana - Unless you are a music student at the upper school, you did not have to participate. She prefers art. Kirsten is the one you hear beside me in the video chattering to her friends! She could recite the entire scripture passage with the rest of the school though. You should have Hannah sing the polish song to you! I actually really like my tree this year too (especially since we got it after Christmas last year for 75% off!)
