Tonight we had some of our friends over for the traditional chili dinner/Alabama football kick off!! It was rather impromptu this year - but still super fun! We were able to get the adults all around our table for the first time ever!! (The kids were left to fend for themselves - HA!) They ended up sitting on the deck because the weather was absolutely GORGEOUS today!! Mid 60's!
Our friends the Lindungs...
and the Webbs...
TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA!!!!
the dads...
and the kids... (minus the teens)
Where there are gaggles of girls -there will be hand clapping games - even dads of little girls are required to know these games!! And there will be piles of little girls on dad's laps! Any dad will do around here!
of course Mommys know these games very well...
The girls ended the evening laying on the driveway watching the stars - they were beautiful on such a clear cool night!
Mom decided to have some night-photography fun!
Good-bye Webb family!!
Then Punkin had some night-photography fun - in this picture we even captured a few stars!
Our little abode - at night.
This image just fascinates me!! There were three girls walking up the steps to the door while I took this picture - because of the very slow shutter speed - they look like a vapor!! SOOO cool!!
Banana and her BFF decided that they needed to celebrate their "friend anniversary" with a sleepover this evening (they'll use any excuse, won't they?). Which is so funny anyway because they have been friends since infancy - but apparently they know about a date that we don't. Blowing out the candles on their bed-time ice cream!! :)
When Boo felt left out by that - they each gave her their candles and she had double the fun!!
Rooooolll Tiiiide!!! (yes ya'll, we are misplaced Southerners)
Great Pictures. My how ALL the girls are growing up. Love all the added touches to the photo's. Now was the Bama game televised up there? WHat is with that? We had to watch it on the computor???? And we live in the south. Must be those gators that kept it from being shown here. (Just kidding). Bama was rolling tonight. Will be wearing our Bama shirts soon.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the vapor picture - we have them but for such a short time before they begin their own homes. Looks like it was cool there too - it was cold up north!
ReplyDeleteWe were at dinner with the boys when the game started (several TVs with various football games showing). Without skipping a beat, Alexander said, "I know what Emily & Mr. Richard are doing right now" :)
