The Swing - by Robert Louis Stevenson
How would you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh I do think it the pleasantest thing,
Ever a child could do!!
Up in the air and over the wall,
Til I can see so wide!!
Rivers and trees and cattle and all, over the countryside.
Til I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown--
Up in the air I go flying again!!
Up in the air and down!!
Love these pictures. Love the girls hair flying in the air. Your sky certainly is BLUE! Swinging one of the most fun things to do.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the blue sky too--love the poem and the girls' hair blowing in the "swing" breeze--adorable!
ReplyDeleteThe sky has been beautiful lately! We have had such wonderful weather!
